Though they may not be able to transform a person’s sex, as some claim, they can transform our understanding of what it means to be human. There’s much at stake in this issue. Will we live out our God-given responsibility to speak the truth about his creation? Will we submit to his creative design for our lives? Will we love our hurting neighbors?
